SIX INCHES OF SOIL
A British independent full feature length documentary shining a spotlight on soil health and regenerative farming. It tells the inspiring story of young British farmers standing up to the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food – to heal the soil, our health, restore biodiversity, sequester carbon and provide for local communities. The aim of the film is to sound the alarm on a broken system whilst giving hope that there is a way to fix it; to inspire farmers to adopt agroecological and regenerative farming practices and to encourage consumers, food corporations and policy makers to support their efforts.
Following the film there will be a discussion panel including the film’s producer Claire Mackenzie, Pocket Wilding charity trustee Natasha Somers, organic farmer George Bennett and regenerative farmer James Porter who will be taking questions about the film and the subject in general.
